Welcome to your future 2008
You’ve dreamed, aspired and work toward this future…
Behold here it is…The future you’ve so eagerly raced towards is here…
Welcome to 2008… Happy New Year!!!
Yes, it is new, but not for long…
Your dreams, your desires, your aspirations and hopes for this year…
May they be attained.
May your thoughts duel on the positive things that edifies…
May you see beyond the mire physical, into the supernatural
May your path be strewn with success
Not the kind that overwhelms…
But the kind of success that blesses you and those around you
May you be able to see beyond yourself…
Reach beyond yourself, and touch others
For there is healing in reaching out to others.
I wish you the very best that life has to offer this year…
Above all, I wish you Peace, Love and Joy…
Though the world might be starved of these three virtues.
May you attained them…
And all the wonders they bring along.
Welcome to 2008

As I drive down the street, there is an uncomfortable scenario
Unfolding before me, staring right down my face…
I looked at it and wonder why this, why now?
Then it hits me like a brick wall in the face
It’s almost Christmas, hence the traffic jam
That seems to plague me every where I turn as I drove.
Where are all this people going?
They are going about doing their Christmas shopping of course
Shopping… hmm Shopping for what?
Shopping for Christmas gifts for their loved ones…
For their loved ones, really?
Hmm…that is strange, cause the closer I observed them
The more stressed laden emotion I sensed from them…
If they are really shopping for gifts for their loved ones….
Why are they not doing the shopping with much love and joy.
I suspect there is something amiss here…
Ha, now I think I’m beginning to get it!
The joy of Christmas is gradually being suffocated
Under the weight of commercialism….
This commercialism induces a warped view of Christmas
Once Christmas lost its essence
Then the joy is gone
It’s almost Christmas
But, were is the joy?
